How to use
- Enter the total trip distance in kilometres.
- Enter your car's consumption (litres per 100 km).
- Choose the fuel type and enter the current price per litre.
Formula used
liters = (distance_km × consumption_L100) / 100
total_cost = liters × price_per_literWorked example
For a 100 km trip at 8 L/100km consumption and 2.85 AED/L: litres = (100 × 8) / 100 = 8 L, total cost = 8 × 2.85 = 22.80 AED.
Reading the results
"Total litres" is the expected fuel used, "Total cost" is the expected amount you'll pay, and "Cost per km" helps you compare trips of different lengths.

How is the trip fuel cost calculated?▼
We multiply distance (km) by consumption (L/100km), divide by 100 to get litres, then multiply by the price per litre.
Where does the default fuel price come from?▼
The default price is a typical UAE pump price; replace it with the current official price shown on our monthly UAE fuel prices page for accuracy.
What if I don't know my car's consumption?▼
